Shade cloth is an Industrial Textile made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), and combines Ultra Violet (UV) stabilisers and colour additives.

Knitted Shade Cloth allows for air circulation over, under and in between the cloth allowing the heat to escape and cooling breezes to flow through.

Knitted Shade Cloth is ideal for medium to small commercial and domestic shade sails and shade structures, and offers the end user maximum Ultra Violet protection against the strong UV rays of the sun. 
It is also a canopy shade cloth ideal for pool shades, gardening shade structures, deck shades and general canopies, awnings shade structures.

We only recommend shade products that made in Top grade shade cloth. Would you pay £200 for a product you have to replace every one year or £1000 for a product that is guranteed for 10 years?

What is a Sail Shade?

A sail shade is a unique structure designed to make an ordinary environment extraordinary. Avaliable in many colours, a shade sail will not only enhance the appearence of any area but will also provide valuable protection from the harsh effects of the summer sun.

What Sizes & Shapes are Available?

Sail shades and Sail Shade structures can vary immensely in size from relatively small 3m x 3m x 3m triangles, to huge areas covering seating areas in stadiums.

Sunshade Solutions Ltd. can now supply you with any of the major components to construct your shade structures, especially the most important part of all, which is of course the actual fabric sail.

How is a Sail Shade Supported?

A shade sail can be supported in a variety of ways. Using posts, which are sunk into the ground. We can supply steel posts, which come in a galvanised finish or a painted finish in the colour of your choice from our standard range. Alternatively, we can supply timber posts, which provide a natural effect to the finished installation. Another method of support is to provide a fixing anchor point to any existing structure that may be available i.e. houses, walls, garages, fences etc. Any combination of the aforementioned support methods can be combined to provide a visually stunning finished product.

All of the fittings, which are used to support the sails come in a stainless steel finish to avoid corrosion. A combination of hooks, ajusters and stainless steel chain are used on each corner to correctly position and tension all shade sail installations. It is up to you what you buy from us to construct your shade sails structures. Sunshade Solutions Ltd. can supply you with all the fixings and steel work for you to carry out the installation yourself. Alternatively we can design, manufacture, supply and install your complete shade sail structure to meet your exact requirements.

We have a team of designers and installation engineers available to help and advise you for any special projects that you have, however this service is not free of charge, but will be charged at a minimal rate as part of the complete installation package.

Rainbow Dri-Z Commercial Grade Fully Waterproof Sails

This waterproof shade cloth is made from the Z16 knitted fabric developed by Rainbowshade, but is also coated with a laminated plastic UV protective membrane. It has limited abrasion and tear resistant properties and when exposed to heat, will have nominal shrinkage, but our  qualified technicians will take this into account when measuring and installing your waterproof shade sail. This versatile cloth  enables many outdoor areas to have that extra measure of protection from the elements.
